What I really like about this grow light is that it has a steady base to prevent the light from tipping over, and it's nice and tall at 70.9 inches or a little over 5'10". I have two multi-tiered plant stands in separate rooms, and already have one grow light from a different company in one room. That one works well but needs to be attached to a shelf. This grow light is better because it is a standalone.
The assembly is a no-brainer - just attach the pole to the base, no tools required. The final piece that goes on top is the large lamp head. The pole comes in four different pieces, and you do not need to attach all four if you don't need the grow light to stand so tall. At 24 watts, this grow light is full spectrum and pretty bright. The gooseneck allows for 360° swivel ability. While this does work, I find it a bit difficult to twist it all the way around due to the stiffness of the gooseneck. I just did it to test it out, but in reality, I am skeptical anyone needs to twist this around at 360°. The control is easy to operate with four buttons: on/off, 3 different light modes, dimming options, and 4 timer options from 3 hours up to 16.
I have tested everything out and it works fine. However, as this is summertime, I do not plan to use this until the winter season when there is little natural sunlight (these grow lights can really rack up your electric bill). So I cannot attest to this effectively growing my plants. That said, I am confident this will work because I have another grow light that's also 24 watts and that works beautifully to grow my plants in the off season. If there are any issues in the future, I will update this review. The only downside is I think this is a tad overpriced. Maybe $49.99 would be more appropriate.
This is a very tall grow light that is modern & sleek in design & will blend in nicely with home decor unlike some more industrial looking grow lights. It was incredible easy to assembly: just screw in the rods & then attach the grow light section & plug in. That’s it. I found this light to be very stable once assembled although it recommends that you place the planter on top of the base for added stability. I think the piece is a bit on the high side, but the quality is there & the design looks good alongside furniture & decor.also it comes with an ungrounded plug so it works with my older home with many 2-prong outlets only
