This is a sturdy 5 foot tall grow light. It was very simple to assemble, took less than five minutes.
There are four tubes, the first one screws into the large square base. Then just slide the rest of the tubes in order onto the first one. You choose if you want to use all four, or make it a shorter height.
My first grow light, purchased from another company, did not have a light timer, and believe me, that is really inconvenient to have to remember when to turn it on and off. With this one, you just set it once for the desired lighting session, and then it goes off and on automatically. Your choices are 3, 9 , 12 or 16 hours.

A Velcro strip is provided which can be attached to the back of the controller if you want it in a fixed location.
You also choose your Light Spectrum using the controller ( for Seedlings/ Flowering/ or Vegetative)
There are 6 levels of dimming. The temperature of the light is cool to the touch, even after several hours of lighting, and there is very little if any glare to irritate your eyes.

This grow light is made of heavy duty plastic and aluminum, and should hold up very well.

I got this grow light for our ficus tree that was a birthday present to my wife the month after we got married. The fact that this tree has lived for almost 20 years amazes me.
This fixture puts out a ton of light for its size. And it looks pretty cool in the corner of our living room.

This grow-light is fantastic and great value. I purchased this grow-light for a plant stand I have in a very dark corner of my bedroom. I set it to one of its warm light settings, and it serves as my floor lamp as well as grow light. Pros: 1. The slim profile makes it almost invisible when not turned on. 2. Customization options: there are 3 options for the type of light, which includes a pleasant warm setting I use exclusively; plus there are 5 levels of brightness. 3. Long cord with control panel placed midway. 4. Price point: great value 5. Stand has small footprint, but holds lamp straight and sturdy, even on carpet. 6. My plants are thriving! Very few Cons: 1. The timer preset labels are too tiny for me to see without magnifying, and you cannot set repeating or prescheduled times. This did not matter to me, as I only use the lamp when I am home. However, I can set it to stay on for a couple of hours before leaving for work if I want. 2. No remote. Not a big deal, but might be important for some. 3. Timer is easy to set (though it is just a basic system where you have a choice of 3 preset options)
